Sura 9 At-Tawbah (The Repentance), ayah 51

  1. قُلْ لَنْ يُصِيبَنَا إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوْلَانَا ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

    Translation by words

    قُل
    Say,
    لَّن
    "Never
    يُصِيبَنَآ
    will befall us
    إِلَّا
    except
    مَا
    what
    كَتَبَ
    Allah has decreed
    ٱللَّهُ
    Allah has decreed
    لَنَا
    for us,
    هُوَ
    He
    مَوْلَىٰنَا
    (is) our Protector."
    وَعَلَى
    And on
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah
    فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ
    [so] let the believers put (their) trust.
    ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
    [so] let the believers put (their) trust.

    Say, "Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed for us; He is our protector." And upon Allah let the believers rely.
