Sura 21 Al-Anbiya (The Prophets), ayah 15

  1. فَمَا زَالَتْ تِلْكَ دَعْوَاهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَاهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَامِدِينَ

    Translation by words

    فَمَا
    Then not
    زَالَت
    ceased
    تِّلْكَ
    [this]
    دَعْوَىٰهُمْ
    their cry
    حَتَّىٰ
    until
    جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ
    We made them
    حَصِيدًا
    reaped
    خَٰمِدِينَ
    extinct.

    And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them (as) a harvest (mowed down), extinguished (like a fire).
