Sura 21 Al-Anbiya (The Prophets), ayah 16

1. وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاءَ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ

   Translation by words

   وَمَا

   And not

   خَلَقْنَا

   We created

   ٱلسَّمَآءَ

   the heavens

   وَٱلْأَرْضَ

   and the earth

   وَمَا

   and what

   بَيْنَهُمَا

   (is) between them

   لَٰعِبِينَ

   (for) playing.

   And We did not create the heaven and earth and that between them in play.

   21:16

Translation: Saheeh International
