Sura 22 Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage), ayah 55

  1. وَلَا يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِنْهُ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَقِيمٍ

    Translation by words

    وَلَا
    And not
    يَزَالُ
    will cease
    ٱلَّذِينَ
    those who
    كَفَرُوا۟
    disbelieve
    فِى
    (to be) in
    مِرْيَةٍ
    doubt
    مِّنْهُ
    of it
    حَتَّىٰ
    until
    تَأْتِيَهُمُ
    comes to them
    ٱلسَّاعَةُ
    the Hour
    بَغْتَةً
    suddenly
    أَوْ
    or
    يَأْتِيَهُمْ
    comes to them
    عَذَابُ
    (the) punishment
    يَوْمٍ
    (of) a Day
    عَقِيمٍ
    barren.

    But those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt of it until the Hour comes upon them unexpectedly or there comes to them the punishment of a barren Day.
