Sura 33 Al-Ahzab (Those who took up arms), ayah 17

قُلْ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَعْصِمُكُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ سُوءًا أَوْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ رَحْمَةً ۚ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا
Translation by words

- Say,
- مَن
- "Who
- ذَا
- (is) it that
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) it that
- يَعْصِمُكُم
- (can) protect you
- مِّنَ
- from
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- إِنْ
- If
- أَرَادَ
- He intends
- بِكُمْ
- for you
- سُوٓءًا
- any harm
- أَوْ
- or
- أَرَادَ
- He intends
- بِكُمْ
- for you
- رَحْمَةً
- a mercy?"
- وَلَا
- And not
- يَجِدُونَ
- they will find
- لَهُم
- for them
- مِّن
- besides
- دُونِ
- besides
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- وَلِيًّا
- any protector
- وَلَا
- and not
- نَصِيرًا
- any helper.
Say, "Who is it that can protect you from Allah if He intends for you an ill or intends for you a mercy?" And they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector or any helper.
33:17
