Sura 33 Al-Ahzab (Those who took up arms), ayah 18

  1. قَدْ يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنْكُمْ وَالْقَائِلِينَ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا ۖ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ الْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

    Translation by words

    قَدْ
    Verily,
    يَعْلَمُ
    Allah knows
    ٱللَّهُ
    Allah knows
    ٱلْمُعَوِّقِينَ
    those who hinder
    مِنكُمْ
    among you
    وَٱلْقَآئِلِينَ
    and those who say
    لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ
    to their brothers,
    هَلُمَّ
    "Come
    إِلَيْنَا
    to us,"
    وَلَا
    and not
    يَأْتُونَ
    they come
    ٱلْبَأْسَ
    (to) the battle
    إِلَّا
    except
    قَلِيلًا
    a few,

    Already Allah knows the hinderers among you and those (hypocrites) who say to their brothers, "Come to us," and do not go to battle, except for a few,

    33:18
