Sura 4 An-Nisa (The Women), ayah 65

فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّىٰ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا
Translation by words
- فَلَا
- But no,
- وَرَبِّكَ
- by your Lord,
- لَا
- not
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- will they believe
- حَتَّىٰ
- until
- يُحَكِّمُوكَ
- they make you judge
- فِيمَا
- about what
- شَجَرَ
- arises
- بَيْنَهُمْ
- between them,
- ثُمَّ
- then
- لَا
- not
- يَجِدُوا۟
- they find
- فِىٓ
- in
- أَنفُسِهِمْ
- themselves
- حَرَجًا
- any discomfort
- مِّمَّا
- about what
- قَضَيْتَ
- you (have) decided
- وَيُسَلِّمُوا۟
- and submit
- تَسْلِيمًا
- (in full) submission.
But no, by your Lord, they will not (truly) believe until they make you, (O Muhammad), judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in (full, willing) submission.
