Sura 4 An-Nisa (The Women), ayah 85
-
مَنْ يَشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً حَسَنَةً يَكُنْ لَهُ نَصِيبٌ مِنْهَا ۖ وَمَنْ يَشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً سَيِّئَةً يَكُنْ لَهُ كِفْلٌ مِنْهَا ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُقِيتًا
Translation by words
- مَّن
- Whoever
- يَشْفَعْ
- intercedes -
- شَفَٰعَةً
- an intercession
- حَسَنَةً
- good,
- يَكُن
- will have
- لَّهُۥ
- for him
- نَصِيبٌ
- a share
- مِّنْهَا
- of it;
- وَمَن
- and whoever
- يَشْفَعْ
- intercedes -
- شَفَٰعَةً
- an intercession
- سَيِّئَةً
- evil,
- يَكُن
- will have
- لَّهُۥ
- for him
- كِفْلٌ
- a portion
- مِّنْهَا
- of it.
- وَكَانَ
- And is
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- عَلَىٰ
- on
- كُلِّ
- every
- شَىْءٍ
- thing
- مُّقِيتًا
- a Keeper.
Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a reward therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a burden therefrom. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper.
4:85
